November 27 will held videoconference "Autism: Technology support and education in Russia and India".
Since the 1980s, the number of people suffering from autism or autism spectrum disorders has soared considerably all over the world. Today, there is one autism case per 100 people or one percent of the world’s population, according to a generally accepted statistical survey. Researchers are doing their best to solve this problem.
Moscow State University of Psychology and Education has established the successful Federal Resource Center providing all-round support to children with autism.
Last month, New Delhi was the venue of a Russian-Indian summit, with both countries voicing their readiness for wide-ranging collaboration, including in the field of humanitarian cooperation.
What is the situation like with autism studies in Russia and India? Are there any joint projects in this sphere? What effective technology support and education in this area for various age groups does Russia have? What tools can Russian researchers suggest to their Indian counterparts?
These and many other questions will be addressed by representatives of Moscow State University of Psychology and Education during a videoconference organized by Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency in Moscow.
